There is not much interesting on the opposite part of the mod: a few certificates, a mention of who developed the box mod (or we didn’t know) and a couple of Torx screws.

As said before, the entire “carbon” part of the battery pack is a one-piece battery cover. The design, it should be noted, is quite old-school. To get access to the battery compartment, you just need to pull this cover towards yourself. All this is fixed on several magnets (two on the cover and two in the fashion) quite well, but, anticipating the question of users who have seen such a device of covers – the backlash is present, as otherwise. True, not so catastrophic, especially if you deliberately do not look for it.

Having removed the cover, the owner will plunge into the abundance of plastic, of which the compartment for two batteries of 18650 format is created. The boxmod is equipped with the manufacturer’s own board called Quest 2.0 Chip. The functionality in this case is quite wide and varied. The main screen in the enabled state displays the charge of each battery separately, the selected vaping mode and output power, vaporizer resistance, the number of puffs made (can be reset to zero), as well as the set preheat mode and user preset. Power is adjustable from 5 watts to 200 watts.

 Moving between the elements on the main screen is done with the first and third buttons, and to confirm the selection you will need to click on the center key. When you click on the Power icon, its color will change, which will allow you to scroll through the five vaping modes available here: Varivatt, Varivolt, Bypass, Temperature Control and VPC.

 The temperature control mode in the box mod is represented by the most current winding materials: nickel, titanium and 316/904 stainless steel. The temperature limit is allowed to be adjusted between 200-600°F. The power in the thermocontrol is also customizable by activating Watts on the main screen and then setting the desired wattage.

VPC mode, if anyone will use it at all, is an opportunity to customize the so-called curve. When it is activated, a window will open in front of the user, in which you can set the desired vaporizing power during the first four seconds of puffing for every 0.5 seconds.

The last item on the main screen is Setting. As you might have already guessed, here the owner will be able to customize some other parameters, and here there is, by the way, where to go wild. So, the device in the Atomizer item allows you to adjust the resistance, as well as power and preheating mode. Next comes the adjustment of the display brightness.

The Color item allows you to change the color of the interface, offering six design options. Clicking on User allows you to make three custom presets and quickly switch between them on the main screen. The Reset item is responsible for factory reset, and About shows the board version.

Of course, the boxmod is able to charge batteries internally, for which purpose there is a modern USB Type-C connector on the front panel. In sleep mode, one large animated icon will be displayed while charging, and when the screen is active, a lightning bolt icon will appear on top of the two icons. Once the process is complete, the animation will stop.
