Review of CAPO 100 Kit by IJOY
In this review, we will consider a kit from the Chinese company IJOY called CAPO 100 Kit.
Over the past few months, the well-known manufacturer IJOY has released a considerable number of box mods, successfully adapted for use with the new 20700/21700 battery format. We must give the Chinese their due, because most of these devices have gained quite good popularity, while differing in decent technical characteristics and capabilities. Today’s review is dedicated to just one representative of the box mod line, working on the above-mentioned batteries. And its name is CAPO 100 Kit.
IJOY CAPO 100 Kit packaging
The miracle kit comes in a pretty nice box, strewn with a lot of both useful and not so useful information. So, on the front side of the package is the device itself, along with a description of its main distinctive features. Having turned the box in your hands, on one of the sides you can find a code for checking the originality on the manufacturer’s website. uwell vape On the back there is a rather voluminous text in English, in which the brainchild of the IJOY company is praised with all sorts of epithets. Having opened the box, we immediately come across some part of the kit, consisting of a CAPO 100 box mod, a Captain Mini tankomizer and an evaporator for it.

On the bottom there is the remaining, but no less important part of the kit, hidden in a small box. In general, the CAPO 100 Kit includes the following components:
CAPO 100 Box Mod
Captain Mini Clearomizer
21700 40A 3750mAh Battery
Two Replaceable Evaporators
Micro-USB Cable
A Bag with Seals, a Screw, and a Hex Key for the Filling Cap

First, let’s look at the top part of our kit – the Captain Mini Clearomizer. The twenty-two-millimeter tank is a junior version of the previously released Captain subohm tank and is visually almost indistinguishable from its older brother. It is worth noting that the clearomizer is made quite well, it feels weighty in the hand, hinting to us that the manufacturer did not skimp on metal.
The filling cap initially has a wide 510 Delrin drip tip installed. Of course, you can use your own mouthpieces if you wish. I would like to draw special attention to the top cap, because its design is quite interesting. To open the cap, you need to do one simple thing: move it with your finger in the place where there is an inscription Push. After that, we are given access to a small hole, into which, in fact, the spouts of the bottles should penetrate.

Now let’s proceed to reviewing the most delicious – the CAPO 100 box mod. Visually and structurally, the device can be called the successor to the iStick Pico from Eleaf, which was released quite a long time ago. The main control panel of the device, covered with a protective film, in this case is placed on the front side, combining a 0.96-inch screen, power increase / decrease buttons and a Micro-USB port. The opposite side is decorated with a green ornament and the name of the box mod. By the way, the colors of these inserts may vary from device to device. About the Fire button, I can only say a few words: it is large and convenient.

Impressions and conclusions
After using both devices from the set for a certain time, I have two opinions. IJOY CAPO 100 Kit has many positive aspects, but it is not without its disadvantages. Sometimes, extremely unpleasant.
I liked:
A gorgeous package, which has everything you need to start using the device right out of the box. Of course, the presence of a 21700 battery in the set is a very nice bonus.
Good build quality of both the box mod and the clearomizer. CAPO 100 feels monolithic, there are no backlashes or rattles. Only the control buttons shake a little, but this is not critical.
Excellent ergonomics of the box mod. The device fits comfortably in the hand, and the large Fire button is located right under the index finger, making the use of the mod extremely convenient.
A good board with many useful functions. It works instantly, works without failures. It is worth praising the minimum resistance threshold of 0.05Ω, which will definitely please fans of low-resistance windings.
Support for three battery formats. Although, of course, they could have thrown an adapter for 18650 into the box.
Fits large atoms up to 26 mm.
Didn’t like:
For a mod for one battery, the CAPO 100 is too big and heavy. It is clear that the dimensions are primarily due to the supported power elements, but the weight could have been made a little less.
The box mod does not “handle” the declared 100 watts. No matter how you look at it. In addition to this, at powers close to maximum, the battery compartment cover begins to noticeably heat up. It does not heat up, of course, but nevertheless.
Again, why is there no adapter for 18650 batteries, when in the same “Captain” – please?
The box from the device smells quite strongly of glue inside. Everything would be fine, but the evaporators are in it without any packaging, soaking up an unpleasant smell.
