Review of Eycotech Sub Pipe
In this review, I will tell you about an incredibly beautiful and equally non-functional device — the Eycotech Sub Pipe electronic pipe.
This pipe is manufactured by a little-known Chinese manufacturer in our area, EYCO TECHNOLOGY. Having quickly studied their website (the address of which, by the way, does not work without www :), you can see that in addition to a small number of their own (and that is unlikely) products, the company actively “rivets” any clones, which they do not hide. However, this particular pipe is their personal development. It is not on sale, do not even look for it even the Internet, and even Google do not know anything about it. By chance, for which I am very grateful to the representatives of Vape Orion, I got not even a pre-release, but an advertising sample, which never went into production.
Sub Pipe Packaging
As far as I know, either 2 or 3 of these pipes were brought to Russia, and the beautiful cardboard packaging with a full-color booklet, charging cable, spare evaporators and a folding stand was a single copy. vape auckland This copy, apart from a nice bag, did not have anything else in the kit.

Sub Pipe Design
Eycotech Sub Pipe – appearance
The Sub Pipe looks as close as possible to real smoking pipes, and therefore it fits perfectly in the hand and is incredibly beautiful. The main material is natural wood, rosewood, varnished and warm to the touch. Even the “golden” belt and button do not spoil the aesthetics of the appearance, and the authentic mouthpiece only adds indescribable charm.
Eycotech Sub Pipe – button
All pipe control is carried out by one single button, located in the part where the original has a bowl for tobacco. Sub Pipe is turned on by pressing five times, and turned off in the same way. When pressed, LEDs light up in six small holes, depending on the charge level, their color changes from white, through blue to red. They also glow red during charging.
On the bottom of the pipe, the developers placed a microUSB charging socket for the built-in 5.18 Wh battery.
The not-so-cute mark that runs from the bottom to the side is a natural formation in the wood. At first, it irritated me a little, but since most of the time it is not visible, I got used to it. And the manufacturers from YecoTech – dislike, they could have selected the blanks more carefully, but as usual …
Eycotech Sub Pipe – mouthpiece connector
With a certain amount of force, you can pull the mouthpiece off the pipe, it is attached with three o-rings and sits quite tenaciously, although it can be rotated 360 degrees, but this is also possible on ordinary pipes, so we will not focus on this.
The correct mouthpiece should be made of ebonite, but in our reality there are no high temperatures and this accessory is made of ordinary plastic. I even admit that it is a re-sharpened version of some regular tube, because the inlet hole is quite deep, 10.5 mm in diameter, and the classic one should be about 9 (for installing a filter).
Having unscrewed the adapter with the evaporator (which will be discussed below), you can see the container for filling the liquid. Here they did not “reinvent the wheel” and made the tank as similar as possible to that in AIO, i.e. we fill it directly from the neck to about half and screw the evaporator directly into the liquid. Of course, in such a reality, the filling volume becomes simply ridiculous, about 1.5 milliliters (yes, more fits in drippers), but the low-power specificity of the device allows you to stretch this meager amount for 5-6 times with 10-15 puffs.
The main unit of the tube consists of two parts: the adapter and the evaporator itself. The second is screwed into the first and is a classic non-serviceable one with a vertical spiral and has a tricky design. Air enters the evaporator from above, passes between the walls through two thin channels and returns through the spiral back through the center of the evaporator with a portion of steam. The evaporator is completely maintenance-free and you can hardly find one, and besides, it cannot be disassembled in principle (yes, the dents on the body are my unsuccessful attempts to see what’s inside).
The adapter, on the contrary, is quite primitive: on one side there is a cylinder with o-rings for attaching the mouthpiece, in the center there are four holes for air intake and on the other side there are two threads (one larger for screwing into the shank, the second smaller for screwing in the evaporator) and another thinner tube inside as a steam line.

Total:
A gorgeous thing for the collection of a collector of rarities or a refined aesthete, beautiful, comfortable, but absolutely DEAD! The device did not go into production, of course it’s a bit of a pity, it would have definitely found its connoisseur or admirer, but with such characteristics, it may be good that this did not happen.
