Today I will tell you about a tank that fits into a very unusual category of ultra-autonomous tanks. We already have one of these in our store, Mvape M1 plus RTA, and now it has a competitor in the form of X-tank 4.0 from Vapmod.

The general shape between these tanks is very similar, but it simply couldn’t be any other way. But the design is slightly different. The tank works only on replaceable evaporators, and in this it loses to the M1 Plus, which has a serviceable base. There are 3 evaporators: 2 on Kanthal at 0.2 and 0.6 ohm and one at 0.2 ohm on Ni200 for thermal control.
The size of the tank is an important component, because not all box mods will fit it. The height does not play a big role and is 62 mm. But width and thickness are the most important indicators. The width is 44 mm and the thickness is 22 mm, so you need to choose a box mod with a thickness and width equal to or greater than these figures. The weight of the tank is only 60 grams.

The filling is, of course, top. It would seem that the filling hole is located next to the drip tip, but no, there is a stand there that simply holds the tank body. Refilling is carried out through the hole where the drip tip is located. To do this, you just need to remove it. The tank volume is the most important indicator of this tank and it is 10 ml, so you won’t have to refuel often.

The airflow is completely standard from the bottom, with the possibility of adjustment by turning the airflow adjustment ring.

Let’s summarize. In general, the only difference between the X-tank 4.0 and M1 Plus is the availability of maintenance for the latter, everything else is almost 1 in 1, so I don’t see the point in buying the X-tank 4.0, because they have the same price.
