Review of Stargate RDA by Tobeco

Not so long ago Tobeco was popular due to clones of popular devices, but progress is moving, devices are getting better quality and cheaper, so the need for clones among vapers has fallen dramatically. Tobeco rarely pleases us with new good devices, especially their own, but not today! We are glad to introduce you to a really interesting device, Stargate RDA. In this device Tobeco decided to offer vaporizers, something really unusual, but the idea is not exactly new. They decided to take the racks from the Goon RDA (more likely even from the Shuriken RDA) and make them vertical!

But let’s start, as always, with the appearance. Being the brainchild of a Chinese company, the exterior has a unique look to it, which is generally odd for Chinese products. Initially, I thought the logo was something along the lines of a blower, as in one of the company’s past Glasses Postless RDA devices. But in fact it is just a visual component of the drip and it doesn’t carry anything else. new zealand vape In general, the appearance does not cause me any negative thoughts. The height of the drip is 46 mm, diameter 22 mm, weight 42 grams. Available in black and steel colors.

Now let’s talk about the technical component. The insides of the drip most of all remind us of Tsunami RDA, in fact, I would even say that it is a clone of pure water, if not for one thing. The racks, instead of the usual Velocity look, have a similar design to the Goon RDA, only the clamping plates are not on top, but on the sides of the racks. At first we would have been delighted with this design, but then after thinking and weighing everything we realized that using such racks will not be convenient, at least for beginners. The whole problem of such a base is in fixing the racks, with one spiral you will have no problem, but what to do with the second? We doubt that you have a third hand for what would be comfortable to install two spirals. So, in my opinion, this base is more of a disadvantage than a plus, even though it looks spectacular.

Now it’s time to talk about the airflow. The airflow is two holes in the bottom of the case and 4 paired holes on the bottom of the base. Tsunami RDA has exactly the same design (most likely even the size). Favor, such a system perfectly conveys the flavor, so for it we will put a plus, even though the idea is not theirs.

By default, the drip is fitted with a wide delrin drip tip, but it comes with an adapter for 510 drip tip, which is also made of delrin. Fans of hybrid connectors will like this novelty, as it has a silver-plated adjustable and not badly protruding center contact.

Well, it’s time to summarize the results. At first, as we have already said, we were pleasantly surprised by something new and unusual in drip production, but then we realized that this kind of base will not be convenient for everyone and you will have to adjust to feel comfortable with it. So we definitely do not recommend it to beginners. But on the other hand such a structure of the base will allow you to experience a lot of new sensations, or even invent a new winding. The blowing is primarily flavorful, but it can also hold a lot of power. Thus we get a pretty good drip, which is not very well suited for beginner vaporizers, but those who have been brewing in this cauldron long enough will be able to get a lot of new sensations from coilbuilding.
