Recently, the Chinese company Augvape, famous for its dripper with an “almost unique” installation of coils, presented a squonk kit to the community — Druga Squonk Box Kit or Druga Squonker.

Augvape can hardly be called an innovator in the vaping market; all the company’s solutions, one way or another, often have very similar analogues. The entire Druga Squonk kit comes in bubble wrap, the kind used to pack fragile items, which can hardly be called packaging at all. The device itself has a small black cardboard shirt half-height with gold lettering: on the front side is the name of the device, social media icons and the manufacturer’s address, on the other side are the company details and a few familiar icons with certificates and restrictions.

All the accessories fit in the box, including the “new old” Druga RDA 22mm dripper. The entire manual is a piece of cardboard with a double-sided illustration showing which side of the connector nut should be facing the button for better contact.

Appearance and design of Druga RDA 22mm

The Druga RDA dripper is familiar to almost all fans of inexpensive but good Chinese devices, in our case the device is exactly the same, but with some changes. The skirt in my copy is made of stainless steel (I can’t say what the painted ones are made of), and not anodized aluminum, i.e. the device will heat up noticeably more. And the diameter reduced from 24mm to 22mm will only contribute to this. On one side of the skirt there is a familiar logo of two Ds, the atomizer is crowned with a drip tip made of yellow Ultem with the name of the atomizer.

Impressions and conclusions

Appearance of DRUGA SQUONK BOX MODAugvape Druga Squonk Box Kit offers the user a classic bottom feeder in a compact plastic case with a small dripper, reduced to 22mm version of the familiar Druga RDA. The processing of both the box and the atomizer does not cause any complaints, there were no serious flaws. The lid does not have any play, the button is pressed tightly, but not yet to the crunch of the device in the hand, the lid sits in place confidently, the jar both feeds well and collects excess liquid from the bath. I had the device for about a week, and if there were no questions about its operation, then there are personal complaints about some design features.

DRUGA SQUONK BOX MOD lid magnets. The biggest drawback of the Druga Squonker is the weak attachment of the magnets, one of which was lying separately, and the second fell out of the lid right in my hands. There is a comment on the bottle, it should have been made a little softer, and the plastic should have been lighter, because it is simply unrealistic to see how much liquid is left. Although the lid holds well, some of its edges protrude slightly beyond the body and this is felt in the palm of the hand as sharp edges. I did not like the thickness of the plastic case, the box seems too flimsy, although it does not deform in the hand when pressing Fire, but the feeling that if you squeeze a little harder, the device will fly apart did not leave all the time. I did not like the drip tip and thin walls, it would be better if Augvape made the dome out of aluminum, thin stainless steel instantly heats up, and the plastic of the box does not dissipate heat. Using a plug in the drip, although it allows you to reduce the volume of the evaporation chamber, takes up useful space for liquid. However, no one forces you to use this plug at all.

The device came out with some flaws, which are usually forgiven at a low cost. Yes, if you compare it with the original devices from England or Italy, the Augvape Druga Squonk Box Kit is cheaper.
